The photo has really nothing to do with my Whole30 experience but I just love it so much.
Day 10 was kind of more of the same, pretty consistent energy, no headaches, no major cravings. Although around 3pm I get bored/hungry since I’m working at home and while scouring the Whole30 site for ideas on “snacks” and seeing all of the information on why its a no….I found a recipe for Caramelized Coconut Chips on The Clothes Make the Girl, a huge amazing resource of recipes, information and help on all things Whole30 and Paleo.
No emotional breakdowns today, thankfully and even Mase was in a good mood, so overall, a pretty good day! I’m still struggling with my food being blahhhhh but I think that might just be because I love cheese so much. Like so much. Sigh. Anyway, here is what I ate!
Breakfast: Trusty old avocado and roasted Applegate turkey. Can’t go wrong when I’m running out of the house with a toddler. I semi mash the avocado, cover it in pepper and a little salt and then spread it on the turkey, roll the turkey, and run out.
Lunch: Roast that I prepped on Monday on a mixed greens salad with mushrooms and carrots. I had leftover Green Chili marinade from my Green Chili Chicken from last night, so I poured that all over my salad and it was super good and super spicy.
Dinner: Spaghetti Squash spaghetti with a sauce I made myself with garlic, sweet and hot italian sausage that I *think* was compliant, the butcher told me it had no sugar and no preservatives so fingers crossed, I also added onions, zucchini, bell peppers and a lot of garlic along with diced tomatoes and tomato paste and a little water. I seasoned it with oregano, basil, thyme, salt and pepper and a little bit of Tony’s because I honestly put it on everything. Again, it was good, but not as good as my husbands plate which also involved parmesan cheese and garlic bread. I went to bed kind of early-ish so no time for berries :).
