Nuts for Coconut Oil

I’ve recently become obsessed with coconut oil. I haven’t even really gotten into all of the amazing benefits of this fantastic oil, but I found a super easy recipe for a moisturizer that I’m LOVING that I wanted to share.
I found the recipe here via Pinterest and I’m into experiments right now so I gave it a shot.

Oh em gee. It smells amazing, it feels amazing, and I especially love that it has 0 chemicals and was super cheap. I followed her recipe exactly, and I even have half to my BFF to try, and I think it’s going to be enough to last a really long time. Coconut oil is in a sold state at room temperature, but give it any heat and it melts into this rich creamy oil that seriously feels like unicorn magic on your face. I have some acne scarring from those awkward teenage years as well as even lovelier wrinkles from forced adulthood and I have high hopes for this moisturizer!

I you read up on both coconut oil and tea tree oil, they both have healing and anti microbial properties. I’m still researching but everything I’m reading about coconut oil especially is so amazing! Cell regeneration, bacteria killer and repellant, the list goes on and I’m loving it!

So far I’ve been using this morning and night for about a week and my skin is clearer, brighter, so dewy and fresh, and I swear my pores are smaller. I am too vain to post a photo since it’s after cleansing but hopefully at some point I’ll add it it for proof. 😉

Try it out, you will love it!!!!
